MIDDLE SCHOOL & INCOMING FRESHMAN TRYOUT PREP CAMPS
7, 8 & 9th Grades
...Not for Beginners...
...Must have 1-2 Years of previous Training/Competition experience...

Training is open to players looking to improve their ball control form & technique before tryouts.
High level focus on Specialist Positions.
Improving Court Awareness and Decision Making during live play.
Players will be divided for training, based upon experience, to allow for maximum attention to individual skill needs

Session 1. August 1st-3rd. 7 & 8th Grades - 10:00a-12:00p. 9th Grades - 12:30-2:30p
Session 2. August 8-10th. 7 & 8th Grades - 10:00a-12:00p. 9th Grades - 12:30-2:30p

Training Fees: $120 per session/age group.

Registration limited to 30 participants per session/age group
Register early before it closes
Do not sign up if you don't have 1-2 Years of previous training/competition experience.

TRAINERS
...Not all will be at every training sessions...

Coach Ib – former Pittsburg State University, KS Head Coach (1999-2013). Head Coach for Club North where he began his coaching career at the start of the club in the early 1990’s. Coach Ib led the formation of our club-wide National Team programs and has been a Head Coach in the 12-18 National Age Group Divisions.
Sam Wyatt – Head Coach of Mizuno Club North Volleyball 16-1 and 14 National Teams. Coach Sam is also the Coordinator of Club North Volleyfit programs. In addition to her club coaching resume, Coach Sam was a former Assistant Coach at Benedictine College, Atchison, KS. She competed as a Libero in College at Pittsburg State University.
Angela Hlavaty – Head Coach of 18-1 and 12-1 National Teams. She brings over 10 years of coaching experience, along with private lessons and group trainings. She grew up in Lincoln, NE where she played club volleyball at Nebraska Juniors and won 2 junior national championships. She played 4 years at The University of Southern Mississippi.
Karen Gates – Head Coach of 15-1 National Team. She has over 27 years’ experience as a high school coach and club coach. She has coached in all age groups at the Regional and National levels for Club North. Prior to coaching in Kansas City, she grew up in Chicago playing high school and club volleyball and transitioned successfully to NCAA I level volleyball at the University of Minnesota.
Corina Rodriguez-Brackett – Coach Coriina has been a Coach for Club North Teams in all Age Groups and for the past few years concentrating on National level teams. She is Head Coach of our 16-2 National Team and is also one of our Skill Trainers working with all age groups in skill development. She is a graduate of Park University where she competed in Volleyball.
Rachel Kirby – Coach Kirby has been a Head Coach for Club North Teams in 12-15’s Age Groups for over 5 years. She is also one of our Skill Trainers working with all age groups in skill development.
Haydan Heuermann – Head Coach of our Premier 15-2 team. She is in her senior year as a Setter at University of St Mary, Leavenworth Prior to College, Coach Haydan competed in the Club North National Team programs for over 5 years and represented the club at the USA Volleyball Girls Junior National Tournaments.

In consideration of being allowed to participate in any way in the Club North and KC Premiere Volleyball, LLC., athletics/sports program whether involving team or individual sports and related events and activities, the undersigned acknowledges, appreciates, and agrees that:

The risk of injury and/or illness from the activities involved in the program is significant, including the potential for permanent paralysis and death, and while particular rules, equipment, and personal discipline may reduce the risk, the risk of serious injury does exist;
The risk to have direct or indirect contact with individuals who have been exposed to and/or diagnosed with one or more communicable diseases, including but not limited to COVID-19 or other medical conditions, diseases, or maladies, and/or any mutation or variation thereof does exist and it is impossible to eliminate the risk that I could become infected through contact with or close proximity to an individual with a communicable disease;
I KNOWINGLY AND FREELY ASSUME ALL SUCH RISKS, both known and unknown, EVEN IF ARISING FROM THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE RELEASES or others, and assume full responsibility for my participation; and,
I willingly agree to comply with the stated and customary terms and conditions for participation. If, however, I observe any unusual, significant hazard during my presence or participation, I will remove myself from participation and bring such hazard to the attention of the nearest official immediately; and,
I, for myself and on behalf of my heirs, assigns, personal representatives and next of kin, HEREBY RELEASE AND HOLD HARMLESS CLUB NORTH & KC PREMIERE VOLLEYBALL,LLC, its officers, officials, agents and/or employees, other participants, sponsoring agencies, directors, sponsors, advertisers, and, if applicable, owners and lessors of the premises, including Parkville Athletic Club, LLC; PRTSC, LLC; Don & Faye Alexander and M&M Beans, LLC., used to conduct the event (collectively, the "Releases"), WITH RESPECT TO ANY AND ALL INJURY, ILLNESS, DISABILITY, DEATH, or loss or damage to person or property, WHETHER ARISING FROM THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE RELEASES OR OTHERWISE.

FOR PARENT/GUARDIAN OF PARTICIPANT OF MINORITY AGE: This is to certify that I, as parent/legal guardian with legal responsibility for this participant, do consent and agree to his/her release as provided above of all the Releases, and, for myself, my heirs, assigns and next of kin, I release and agree to indemnify the Releases from any and all liabilities incident to my minor child's involvement or participation in these programs as provided above, EVEN IF ARISING FROM THEIR NEGLIGENCE.

By signing up for this training session, camp or league, I, as the parent or legal guardian, agrees to the above statements. I agree that typing in my name acts as my legal signature.
