Welcome to Club North Volleyball!  

 

The following information will be helpful for you at the tryouts. 

 

We are in our 17th year as a USAV Volleyball Club and have many years of experience among our coaching staff.  All of our coaches are certified, have previously coached, and/or assisted with this type of program in the past. 

 

At the tryouts, the participants will be evaluated on ATTITUDE, HITTING, VERTICAL JUMP, PASSING, SERVING, COACHABILITY, SETTING, and GAME SITUATION.

We will be selecting 1 team at 18 & Under-(4-5 openings), 1 or 2 teams at 17 & Under-(8-10 openings; 2 teams at 16 & Under-(15-16 openings); 2-3 teams at 15 & Under-(20-23 openings); 3 teams at 14 & Under-(22-25 openings); 3 teams at 13 & Under-17-20 openings); 2-3 teams at 12 & Under-(14-15 openings), and 1 team at 11 & Under-8-9 openings).

 

In each age division, our intention is to have at least 1 National Team and in the 13, 14, & possibly 15 age brackets we intend to have 2 National Teams.   Also, there will be local teams for tournaments in the HOA region.

 

The Club Fees are as follows:

 

1. Regional Teams for 11's thru 18's -Club Fee-$790

      Includes 7 local tournaments-$100 range and Regionals

 

2. National Teams for 13’s thru 18’s include 1 National Qualifier in KC, Asics Presidents’ Day Classic in Omaha, and 7 local tournaments - $1050.00

 

The Club payment can be made in 3 installments or all at once. The installments would be due as follows:

 

1-November 19^th, 2^nd - January 5^th and final payment February 5^th.

 

The club fees for the local teams cover the costs of uniforms, 2 practices per week, 7 tournaments plus 1 HOA Regional tournament, coaches’ fees, $40 USAV registration fee, equipment, and other club costs.  These tournaments will be in the HOA area such as Topeka, Columbia, Blue Springs, Kansas City, Springfield, Lawrence, or Independence.  The additional expense for the National teams include tournament entries which run between $400-$800 and travel expenses for the coaches. 

 

Practices will be at one of our facilities located at 5110 NW Waukomis Drive, in Riverside or LeVo Gym at 700 Argosy Pkwy, in Riverside.
