Club North is committed to the ongoing personal development of each team member through example and encouragement of positive learning, physical and social attitudes.
Club North 11-1: Head Coach: Michelle Frazier- This is Michelle's 7th year of coaching for Club North. Michelle has been involved in volleyball for over 20 years playing high school volleyball, in recreational leagues or coaching recreational and competitive volleyball teams. Michelle has assisted Patty with many aspects of KC Premiere and Club North. Her goal is to continue build individual skill sets in a fun environment.
Club North 12-1-: Head Coach: Carl Sharp- Carl is regarded as one of the premier coaches in Kansas City by peers and former players. He played competitive volleyball in college. He has coached in the Parochial Volleyball League winning 4 city championships. Carl also founded the Northland Volleyball Camp (NLVBC) to provide a platform for improving basic volleyball skills. His goal is to find new and innovative ways to teach the game. Assistant: Kylie Fatino
Club North 12-2 Regional: Head Coach: Roman Gonzales- After playing in High School, Roman founded the Volleyball program for Cardinal Newman University in St. Louis. He then began coaching at the scholastic level in 1998 and coaching Junior Olympic volleyball in early 2000. Roman has coached teams of all ages both Gold and Silver. Roman has his Cap 1 Coaching Certificate. He is the JV coach for St. Pius X High School. This will mark his 3nd year with Club North.
Club North 13-1: Head Coach: Jennifer Juarez- Despite being in only her third year of coaching, Jennifer has been involved with the sport of volleyball for many years, either as a player or assisting with clinics and camps. Jennifer takes her role as coach very seriously. Her goal is to inspire players to love the game, teach sound volleyball skills and develop players’ confidence, character and desire to succeed. This is her first year with Club North.
Club North 13-2: Head Coach: Michelle Wagner- Michele has been playing volleyball since the 4th grade. She played in High school and has continued to play on various Adult Leagues. Michele was the coach for our 14-2 team last year. This is Michele’s 4th year with Club North. Her goal is to challenge and teaching the players proper techniques.
Club North 13-4: Head Coach: Brynne Wilkes- Brynne is currently the Freshmen Coach at St Pius and has previously coached for other clubs in the area. She played during her college years and is enjoying back into the sport and coaching the younger players.
Club North 14-2: Head Coach: Jason Long- Jason coached the boys Club North team for the first year in 1992 and played USVBA for three years. He likes to play the sport and feels blessed that he gets to coach the younger players. Jason will be returning to Club North for his 5th year. His goal is to lead by example by being a great team player, having the best attitude and being the most energetic person on the court.
Club North 14-3: Head Coach: Rachel Schieber- Rachel graduated from the University of Kansas with a BS in Community Health. This will be her 6th consecutive year coaching and her 4rd year with Club North. Last year she coached the 15-1 team. She has played volleyball as a Setter. Her goal is to push all of her athletes to new limits in skill, fitness, and knowledge of the game.
Club North 14-4: Head Coach: Lindsey Hartzler- Lindsey is a 4 year letter winner at William Jewell College where she received All-Conference and Academic All-American awards. She has coached at Harrisonville for 4 years- 2 years at JV level. This is her first year coaching with Club North.
Club North 15 National: Head Coach: Karen Gates- Karen played at the University of Minnesota on a full athletic scholarship and played professionally for the Minnesota Monarchs. She has been coaching high school and club teams for 23 years. This is her 4th year with Club North. Her goal is to teach young athletes the game of volleyball, both mentally and physically but also encourage personal development in a positive way.
Club North 15 National: Head Coach: Trevor Bash-Trevor is an experienced coach who has been playing and coaching volleyball for over 18 years. He has been associated with Club North Volleyball since the early days playing as well as coaching 12-17 year old teams. His goals are to teach fundamentals, encourage team work, and foster passion for the game.
Club North 15 Gold: Head Coach: : James Circello – James experience with volleyball started in high school managing the girls team and playing for the men's team his senior year. He coached 4 years in Premier and a Club North team last year. His goal is to teach volleyball technique, skill, teamwork, respect, hard work, to be competitive and to have fun doing it. "Passion is the name of the game"!
Club North 15 Gold: Head Coach: Tracy Beucher- Tracy played for Oak Park high school as a setter, lettered in both volleyball and softball. Tracy has 2 seasons of premiere coaching, 4 years with youth volleyball in Gladstone and 2 years as a head coach for Club North. Her goals for her players include respect for themselves and their teammates so that they have fun while building a healthy drive to accomplish anything in life.
Club North 16 National: Head Coach: Henri Uribe- Originally from Venezuela, this is Henri’s first Club North team. He played for Park University (2006-2008) and was part of the Men’s NAIA National Tournament Championship run his senior year. He brings a kind of experience and coaching to Club North that HOA rarely sees. His goal is to develop good citizens as well as players who can be flexible on the court, skillfully playing 2-3 positions. Assistant Coach – Allegra Shaw- As a college freshman at Ottawa University in KS, she received the KCAC Player of the Year award, first team all-conference selection, and holds the record at OU for block assists in a four set match and she was voted MVP by her coach and teammates. Her goal is to build character and integrity in each player and provide athletes with the guidance, support, skills and mentality necessary to become successfully college athletes.
Club North 16-2 National: Head Coach: Kortney Holeman- Kortney is a graduate of Truman State University and has 14+ years of volleyball experience. A Kansas City native, Kortney played on many of the area's club teams and has coached at various camps and clinics throughout her career. This is her 2nd year with Club North. Her goal is to expand on the fundamentals of volleyball to make players more intellectually aware and physically able to compete.
Club North 16 Silver: Head Coach: Alicia Wickcliffe- Alicia played competitive and recreational volleyball from 4th to 10th grade. Alicia has coached volleyball for the past 7 years, and is currently pursuing a degree in Human Services in Management . Alicia is assisting the Freshman and JV teams at Pius X High School. Alicia’s goals are to continue to refine the skills and fundamentals to succeed in volleyball, while instilling a positive environment and teaching life’s lessons.
Club North 17: Head Coach: Amberly Heslinga- Amberly has played club volleyball since 5th grade. Amberly is from Shenandoah, IA. She played volleyball at Dana College where she was DS. She now attends Missouri Western in St. Joe and majors in Elementary Education. Amberly coached club for 2 years in Nebraska. This is her 2nd year with Club North. She is currently the Freshman Team Coach at Smithville High School. Her goal is to teach fundamentals to players who love the game!
Club North 18: Head Coach: Chris Bair- This will be Chris's 4th season at Club North. In the previous years Chris has coached the 15, 16, and 18 teams. Chris has coached varsity and Junior Varsity at Cristo Rey High School in Kansas City and for the past 2 years has coached the Varsity team at St. Pius X High. A goal he realized last year and has again this year for his team is to have 100% of his 18's players playing at the college level.
